Electrician - Generator Installer - $25-28/hr

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrician to join our team and lead electrical installations of Generac generators for our growing client base. If you're a skilled electrician with leadership experience and a strong commitment to safety, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Oversee the installation of standby generators and automatic transfer switches (ATS).Ensure all electrical work complies with National Electric Code (NEC) and state/local regulations.Supervise and mentor electricians and apprentices on the job site.Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and project plans.Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during and after installation.Promote a safety-first culture and ensure all work is performed according to company safety policies.Maintain accurate documentation and job records.

Essential Skills

Experience with electrical installations, including running conduit, PVC, Rigid Pipe, pulling wire, and using cable trays.Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.Strong leadership skills to supervise and mentor team members.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must provide own basic electrical tools and voltmeter.Familiarity with installing generators is preferred.

Work Environment

Work involves installing generators at residential homes. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. You will drive to the Mount Pleasant location daily to pick up a company truck and return it at the end of the day.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $58240.00/yr.
