Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Low Voltage Electrician Apprentice to join our fire alarm systems team. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals looking to build a career in the low voltage electrical trade, with a focus on fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings. You will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to learn the fundamentals of installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with the installation, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm and other low voltage systems such as security and access control.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Pull, label, and terminate low voltage wiring and cabling under supervision.Support the setup and configuration of fire alarm control panels and devices.Help perform inspections to ensure systems meet local codes and standards.Assist in troubleshooting and repairing system faults and malfunctions.Work alongside project managers, general contractors, and other trades on job sites.Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.Provide courteous and professional communication with clients and team members.Essential Skills1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.Interest in electrical work and fire alarm systems.Willingness to learn and follow instructions.Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.Basic hand tool knowledge; ability to provide own tools is a plus.Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented attitude.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces.Capable of working in various environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor).Ability and willingness to learn and grow in the field.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
You will primarily work in commercial and industrial settings, often exposed to construction elements. The role may require working indoors and outdoors in various conditions.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
