Electrician will read and interpret blueprints/electrical schematics. They will be installing conduit, wiring, outlets, fixtures, performing terminations, and bringing in power, etc. Electricians will assist in renovating existing electrical installs and installing new electrical components for new construction projects at the Camp Blanding military base. This role ensures that contractors work efficiently and effectively while assisting with morning setups. Reliable transportation is a must, and availability to work five days a week is required.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure contractors are working efficiently and on schedule.Assist in organizing the team each morning.Wire light fixtures with 0-10V dimming controls, trim-out dimmers, and receptacles.Assemble, install, and wire apparatus and fixtures using hand and power tools.Proficiently bend and run conduit/EMT.Read and interpret blueprints.Install fuse boxes.Essential SkillsProficiency in electrical and commercial electrical work.Experience in construction and blueprint interpretation.Ability to troubleshoot blueprints and electrical systems.Competency in conduit bending, EMT installation, and wire pulling.Skill in using hand tools and cordless drills.Commercial construction expertise.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 7+ years of experience in electrical work.Ability to bend and run conduit, pull wire, and read blueprints.Familiarity with NEC codes.Capability to wire up panels, perform terminations, and complete all phases of electrical work independently.Why Work Here

Work Environment
Work takes place in the renovation and new construction areas of Camp Blanding, a fully operational military base. You must maintain a professional demeanor at all times. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, requiring PPE such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots. The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
