Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Foreman Electrician to lead our commercial electrical construction projects. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the project, from ordering materials to managing manpower and scheduling inspections. The foreman will also perform hands-on electrical work, ensuring that installations and repairs meet NEC standards. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as the foreman will supervise crews and serve as the primary point of contact for clients. A commitment to safety and quality is paramount, with regular safety inspections and adherence to electrical codes and construction practices.
ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of commercial electrical construction projects.Order materials, manage manpower, and schedule inspections.Perform hands-on electrical work and ensure compliance with NEC standards.Supervise electrical crews and serve as the primary client contact.Conduct regular safety inspections and adhere to electrical codes.Plan layout, install, and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment.Plan new or modified installations to minimize material waste and ensure future maintenance access.Install system components and wiring in compliance with NEC and NFPA.Prepare sketches or follow diagrams to install concealed wiring.Cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using tools.Pull wiring through conduit and splice wires as needed.Connect wiring to control and distribution apparatus.Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads.Test circuit continuity to ensure compatibility and safety.Observe installed equipment to detect hazards and need for adjustments.Repair faulty equipment or systems as necessary.Assess and adjust priorities to meet project requirements and workload.Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.Essential SkillsProficiency in schematic and blueprint reading.Experience with conduit bending and electrical wiring.Strong knowledge of commercial construction and troubleshooting.Ability to run conduit and pull wire.Proven experience in commercial electrical construction.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to plan and execute electrical installations per local codes.Experience with installing system components and wiring per NEC and NFPA.Skill in using tools such as hacksaws, pipe threaders, and conduit benders.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
