HIRING: Senior Electrical Estimator REMOTE
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Estimator to join a leading Cost Management firm. This is a fully remote position where you will play a key role in strategizing and executing the estimating process for commercial interiors and various other project types. You will be responsible for overseeing and finalizing bid packages and schedule of values, ensuring accuracy and precision in all submissions.
Responsibilities
Participate in pre-bid and takeoff meetings to strategize estimating process for commercial interiors and other project types.Oversee and finalize all takeoffs, bid packages, and schedule of values completed by estimators prior to submission to ensure accuracy.Review, finalize and submit change orders.Estimate costs for power distribution, fire alarm systems, and lighting installations. Low voltage experience is a plus.Identify and quantify potential cost uncertainties to ensure costing models capture the full range of potential costs.Essential Skills
7 years of Electrical Estimating experience.Experience working on Commercial Interiors with openness to other project sectors.Knowledge of construction documents.Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.Bachelor's degree in a field related to Construction.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Revit.OSHA 10 certification.Expertise in Excel for cost accounting and reporting.Ability to use takeoffs as a reference without relying on drawings.Experience with projects varying in size from tens of millions to hundreds of millions.Low voltage experience.Construction knowledge.Knowledge of design.Ability to read paper drawings.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $68.00/hr.
