The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to support the design, integration, and testing of electrical systems associated with unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and related mission platforms. This internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced engineering and fabrication environment, working directly along side experienced engineers and technicians supporting real-world operational requirements. The ideal candidate is technically curious, detail-oriented, and eager to apply classroom knowledge to practical engineering challenges.


Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and documentation of wiring harnesses and electrical assembliesSupport schematic updates and basic PCB-related tasksParticipate in electrical integration of components into UAS and other platformsConduct bench testing and assist with troubleshooting of electrical systemsSupport development of wiring diagrams, build instructions, and test proceduresAssist with component identification, part research, and basic procurement supportHelp maintain engineering documentation and configuration controlProvide support during system integration activities and lab operationsCollaborate with electrical, mechanical, and systems teams to resolve technical issues



Qualifications:

Required: 

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related fieldFoundational understanding of circuit theory and electrical principlesAbility to interpret wiring diagrams and basic schematicsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a hands-on lab environmentStrong communication skills and willingness to learnAbility to obtain and maintain SECRET security clearance


Desired:

Experience with schematic capture or PCB design toolsFamiliarity with CAD softwareExposure to embedded systems, power systems, or RF fundamentalsPrior internship, lab, or project team experience

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$39,900-$79,900
