Electrical Engineer (Jr-Mid Level)
Job Description A client in the Lansing MI area is seeking 5 Electrical Engineers to join their team for a full-time opportunity. In this role, the Electrical Engineer supports a broad range of on‑site project activities that shift depending on the phase of each installation. Daily responsibilities include assisting with equipment setup and commissioning tasks, which vary by project site and operational conditions. The engineer oversees and coordinates the work performed by subcontractors—such as wiring, panel verification, and device testing—ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to project standards. The Electrical Engineer is also responsible for conducting basic PLC troubleshooting as needed, while more complex programming tasks are carried out by partner organizations. Additionally, the role provides support across multiple phases of the installation lifecycle, including system setup, I/O checks, debugging, safety validation, and final sign‑off activities, depending on site demands. Skills and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field 0–4 years of experience in electrical/control engineering or related fields Exposure to or basic hands-on experience in equipment setup, commissioning, or stabilization in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen-Bradley) and HMI system Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Bilingual in Korean
