You are currently pursuing a BS (as a rising Junior or Senior), MS, or PhD in Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering degree. You have strong technical problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

Your Opportunity

This role is about making an impact on people’s lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As an Electrical Engineering Intern in Pickering, Ontario, you will be part of the proven team in the Design Engineering Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:

Assist all levels of engineers with their tasks and assignments in support of local Nuclear facilities Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job Work under immediate supervision Extracts and compiles engineering data, processes computer data using specified formulas and procedures Prepares data and process input information for computer programs, selects appropriate programs to obtain results required and prepares output data in usable form Prepares rough drawings and sketches and lists of materials following standard practices from instructions furnished by engineers, designers, or other technical employees Performs other technical tasks to assist engineers in the performance of their duties following standard procedures Scan/copy drawings and provide other general administrative support activities as needed Assists project engineers with design, procurement, fabrication, installation and startup Assists plant and maintenance engineers with equipment repair trouble shooting, instrumentation and preventive maintenance procedures, spare parts, etc. May require assisting in performance of testing, data acquisition and data analyses To play an active role in creating a safe and healthy workplace and comply with all applicable safety and health rules
