Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Local Client hiring an Electrical Engineer with experience in design to join their team in St. Petersburg. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the Amusement/Theme Park Industry and 3-5 years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical applications engineering related to amusement ride machinery.

Responsibilities

Apply knowledge of steel construction, welding, fasteners, machining, bearings, wheels, and conveyance systems.Utilize expertise in control systems, power distribution, electrical systems, motors, and motor control systems.Incorporate understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and human factors.Design and develop electrical systems for amusement park machinery using Solidworks and AutoCAD.Read and interpret engineering drawings related to theme park rides.Manage projects efficiently under tight deadlines and changing priorities.Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, both in writing and verbally.

Essential Skills

3-5 years of experience in the amusement/theme park industry.Proficient in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, and SOLIDWORKS.Experienced in electrical systems engineering.Detail-oriented and organized.Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Petersburg, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
