The Field Service Engineer will provide onsite technical assistance and troubleshooting/repair of electronic and electro/mechanical products to customers. This role involves traveling to customer sites approximately 50% of the time.
ResponsibilitiesProvide onsite technical support for electronic and electro/mechanical products.Troubleshoot and repair equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction.Travel to customer sites to address and resolve technical issues.Operate test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and volt meters.Read and understand parts lists, catalogs, price books, and service procedures.Essential SkillsAssociates Degree in Electronic Engineering/Technology with 3 years of experience or a BSEE at entry level.Proficient knowledge of electrical products and equipment.Experience with PLCs, VFDs, drives, motors, and testing equipment.Ability to read and interpret control wiring diagrams.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with industrial drives and AC variable frequency controllers.Knowledge and experience with servo motor controllers.Familiarity with various types of PLCs and the ability to troubleshoot and modify programs.Experience with industrial fieldbuses such as DeviceNet and Profibus is preferred.Work EnvironmentThe role involves working onsite at a designated location for non-travel days to test work in-house, along with a team of 4 members on the Field Service team. The position offers full company-paid benefits and eligibility for paid travel time when driving to customer sites.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr.
