We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with 10-15 years of experience. The candidate must possess a Professional Engineer (PE) license as they will be responsible for stamping drawings. This role involves both drawing and client-facing tasks, requiring a personality that is willing and adaptable to client interactions.
ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage electrical engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring they meet client specifications, budget, and timeline.Develop and review detailed electrical designs, including lighting and power, using software like AutoCAD and Revit.Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and construction teams to ensure integrated and efficient designs.Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, such as ASHRAE standards and local building codes.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a collaborative and educational work environment.Communicate with clients to understand their needs, present design solutions, and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.Essential SkillsElectrical engineering expertise, particularly in commercial building design.Professional Engineer (PE) license.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.Ability to work independently and manage projects effectively.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.Extensive experience in electrical engineering with a proven track record of leading projects.Other relevant certifications are a plus but not required.Work EnvironmentThe position allows for fully remote work, though candidates living in Colorado are preferred for site visits. For those who prefer an office environment, options include offices in Golden or Colorado Springs, Colorado.
