As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating components and processes used in the generation, manipulation, transmission, and storage of electricity. You will determine design approaches and parameters, analyze equipment to establish operating data, and conduct experiments.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and test various electrical engineering assignments that form part of larger projects.Develop and test documentation describing specific electrical functionality.Participate and provide input in project code reviews.Run tests designed by more experienced engineers.Review test results and perform root cause analyses to identify problems.Provide recommendations and implement solutions to complex issues, ensuring compliance with quality processes and standards.Modify or upgrade existing electrical designs and enhance technologies for new solutions.Recommend and implement strategies to improve performance and productivity within the team.Seek out new tools for problem analysis and resolution.Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.Receive general instructions on routine work, new projects, or assignments.Provide guidance to non-exempt personnel.Build productive working relationships internally and externally, with primary intra-organizational and occasional inter-organizational and external customer contacts on routine matters.Essential SkillsProficiency in electrical engineering, including design, generation, manipulation, transmission, and storage.Experience with microprocessors, Siemens Pads Designer, schematics, signal integrity, analog circuits, FPGAs, motor controllers, and Ethernet.Knowledge of compliance standards.Experience with Pspice and RF (Radio Frequency) is desired.Additional Skills & QualificationsMaster's degree with coursework in engineering for new graduates.Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or Master's degree with 1+ year of experience for experienced candidates.Work EnvironmentThe position offers a hybrid work environment with three days a week required in Lincolnshire. The role involves a mix of intra-organizational and occasional inter-organizational and external customer contacts on routine matters.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $37.00/hr.
