Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

The Electrical Engineer will play a pivotal role in hardware integration, supporting covert surveillance systems. The position offers both level 3 and level 4 openings, where you will utilize Cadence OrCAD / Allegro for development and collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines to support hardware packaging. Additionally, the role includes conducting DFX reviews, driving hardware design strategy, and supporting R&D efforts.

Responsibilities

Perform hardware integration for covert surveillance systems.Utilize Cadence OrCAD / Allegro for hardware development.Collaborate with other engineering disciplines for hardware packaging.Conduct DFX reviews and drive hardware design strategy.Support research and development efforts.

Essential Skills

Hardware integration expertise.Proficiency in electrical design.Experience with Cadence OrCAD / Allegro.Knowledge of battery systems, schematic, and control electronics.Understanding of power supplies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).5+ years of experience in a related field.Familiarity with PCB design tools, including Cadence (OrCAD / Allegro) or Altium.RF knowledge is required for the Level 4 opening.Mechanical packaging skills.ITAR compliant (US Person).Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Ana, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
