A rapidly expanding, family-oriented global leader in the Industrial Corrosion Control Industry is seeking an Electrical Engineer to take full ownership of electrical, controls, automation, and manufacturing-related design for multi-million-dollar projects. This is an opportunity to join a team building advanced blasting, coating, and automated manufacturing facilities that support shipyards, industrial plants, and critical defense infrastructure. In this role, you will design everything from main power distribution and heavy-load electrical systems to the controls and automation platforms that ensure our facilities operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.

ResponsibilitiesDesign medium-voltage incoming tie-ins through low-voltage distribution systems across entire facilities, including heavy-load feeders and large-facility electrical layouts.Specify and design electrical, controls, and automation systems for industrial blasting and coating facilities.Produce schematics, panel layouts, and detailed electrical documentation using AutoCAD.Prepare scopes of work for external engineering subconsultants and manage associated budgets, schedules, and deliverable scopes.Ensure all electrical and control system designs comply with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Subject Matter Experts to integrate electrical systems into the overall facility design.Support procurement activities and vendor coordination to verify that components meet all standards, specifications, and project requirements.Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at project sites.Essential SkillsElectrical engineeringSchematic designAutoCAD ElectricalProject managementLow voltage power systemsMedium voltage systemsSwitchgear designPower distributionPower system analysisMain feedersSCADA systemsKnowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and Electrical CodesProject EngineeringPE licenseAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with ProcoreExperience using EasyPower, ETAP, SKM, PSS, or other modeling softwareWork Environment

The work environment involves designing and working with medium- and low-voltage power systems, industrial controls, and automation platforms. You will utilize AutoCAD for technical documentation, and work closely with project teams including Project Managers, Engineers, and Subject Matter Experts. Adherence to safety standards and electrical codes such as NEC, NFPA, and OSHA is critical. The role includes occasional site visits for technical support during installation and commissioning.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
