Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Description

- Source obsolete components / find equivalent components for legacy customers

- Review BOMs

- Test, debug, and repair electronics

- Work as a liasion between internal PCB testers and external customers (3rd party inspectors)

- Root cause analysis/troubleshoot boards that are failing

- PCB layout

- Data entry for quoting

- SMT machine programming

Additional Skills & Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

- Associates Degree or higher

- Understanding of circuitry

- Coursework, internships/co-ops, or hands-on experience with electronics/PCBs

- Knowledge of SMT and/or through-hole rework procedures

- Ability to read and understand schematics and BOMs

- Ability and desire to work with little supervision

- Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time

- Visual acuity is required due to working with very small components

PLUS:

- Bachelor's Degree

- Experience manipulating drawings in Altium

- Gerber

- PCB troubleshooting

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wooster, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.
