About the RoleOur client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team and support the design and development of complex electrical systems. This individual will take ownership of technical design work, coordinate directly with clients and partners, and help guide junior engineers. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail‑oriented, and eager to contribute to ongoing improvements in engineering standards and processes.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design of complex electrical systems, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance.Coordinate closely with clients, general contractors, and trade partners throughout project execution.Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical direction to junior engineering staff.Participate in creating, refining, and implementing company engineering standards.Collaborate cross‑functionally to support studies, calculations, and system evaluations.Required Skills & Experience5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in building systems or related industries.Strong experience in electrical design, power distribution, and conducting electrical studies.Hands‑on experience with Revit and SKM.Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.EIT required; PE preferred.Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients and project teams.Leadership experience, including mentoring or overseeing junior engineers.Top SkillsElectrical designPower distributionEIT certificationAdditional Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with load calculations, short circuit/coordination studies, and system protection.Strong communication and collaboration capabilities.Ability to contribute to process improvements and engineering standardization.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medford, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $51.00 - $72.00/hr.
