Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing printed wiring board and industrial control products and equipment. This role involves collaborating with customers to develop product and application specifications, ensuring designs comply with applicable codes and standards, and incorporating business constraints into the product design.

Essential Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.Experience in industrial automation, including creating wiring diagrams and control panel layouts in AutoCAD.Knowledge of PLC parts, circuit breakers, part numbers, I/Os, and VFDs.Familiarity with NEC and UL code standards.Ability to achieve quick project turnaround times, typically 1-2 weeks, occasionally up to 4 weeks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.5+ years’ experience with design and layout of printed wiring boards and panels.Strong skills in electrical design and drafting with proficiency in reading and creating drawings using AutoCAD.

Work Environment

The position is based in a small panel shop with 32 employees, including engineers and skilled technicians. The company was recently acquired by a larger organization, providing opportunities for growth and collaboration.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Moorestown, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
