Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with R&D experience to join a leading company specializing in Industrial Temperature Sensors, Thermowells, Electrical Enclosures, and Electro-Mechanical Assembly Services.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, quality, and drafting departments.Research and proactively troubleshoot electrical issues.Design and test new equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.Create and maintain accurate bills of materials and electrical designs.Oversee two drafters, providing guidance and support.Essential Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD and electrical wiring.Experience with thermocouples and RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work cross-functionally and independently solve problems.Engineering degree with a mechanical experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Entry Level to Mid Level Electrical or Mechanical Engineer.Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Open to recent graduates up to engineers with 5 years of experience.Work Environment
The position is onsite five days a week, offering flexible start and stop times as long as the candidate commits to a consistent schedule of 40 hours. The role provides a unique opportunity to step into management while utilizing technical expertise and collaborating across various departments.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northampton, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $43.00/hr.
