Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will manage cabling projects and be involved in Printed Wiring Board (PWB) or Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and circuit card assemblies. You will work with 3 Phase 115V AC Power systems, and your responsibilities will include designing and managing projects from inception to completion, while considering project limitations such as funding, time, and requirements.
Responsibilities
Manage and design cabling projects, possibly consulting with Mechanical Engineers when necessary.Focus on PWB or PCB design and circuit card assemblies.Handle 3 Phase 115V AC Power systems.Ensure project completion within schedule and budget constraints.Communicate effectively and manage projects proactively.Design cable harnesses for fiber, copper, data, and analog/digital systems.Integrate power and signal systems, focusing on EMI requirements and shielding.Select components and ensure they fit into compact spaces, such as widgets a few inches across.Essential Skills
1-5 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.Experience with CAD tools is preferred but not required.Strong problem-solving skills, mindful of project limitations.Strong communication and project management skills.Proactive approach to work.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with cable harness design for fiber, copper, data, and analog/digital systems.Experience in power and/or signal systems.Experience designing with a focus on EMI requirements and shielding.Knowledge of schematic design and systems integration.Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, Altium, and hardware analog systems.Work Environment

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Burnsville, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
