Electrical Engineer
Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems. The role requires a strong understanding of various electrical systems, design principles, and the National Electrical Code (NEC). You will be involved in quality assurance/quality control design, handling requests for information (RFI), and construction administration (CA). Responsibilities + Design and develop electrical systems and components. + Ensure compliance with NEC and other relevant building codes. + Conduct quality assurance and quality control for designs. + Handle requests for information and manage construction administration processes. + Create and manage electrical design documentation using Revit and AutoCAD. + Perform lighting calculations and project management tasks. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. + 9+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering. + Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. + Experience with building design projects. + Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license or close to obtaining it. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with project management. + Strong ability in electrical design and lighting calculations. Work Environment The position offers flexibility as it can be remote in the DMV area, provided that site visits can be conducted. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sterling, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/hr.
