Job Description Position: Electrical Engineer Company: KBR Project: ROO EPCm Work Week: 6 days work. 1 day off. Location: Basra. Nationality: Iraq Job Purpose: The Electrical Engineer will play a key role in the FEED and detail design, onshore, and Brownfield activities in Iraq, overseeing electrical engineering aspects and ensuring the successful delivery of the project. Job Responsibilities: + Manage and handle detail design and engineering activities for the project. + Develop electrical specifications, datasheets, calculations, and drawings in compliance with project requirements and standards. + Review and approve electrical design, plans, and layouts. + Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and client to ensure the integration of electrical systems into the overall project design. + Support construction by providing constructability input during design. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. + Attend site visit and inspection to ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards, if required + Collaborate with project managers to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met. + Participate in project meetings and forums to address electrical engineering related issues. + Perform Technical Bid Evaluation and vendor document review. Functional Responsibilities: + Oversee the design, installation, and testing of electrical systems and equipment. + Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets for electrical engineering activities. + Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in electrical engineering. Technical Skills: + Proficiency in electrical design software and tools + Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations + Experience in designing and implementing electrical systems for O&G projects. Soft Skills: + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities + Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with stakeholders. + Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
