Key Responsibilities:

\n\nAnalyze and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems in facility production equipment, identifying root causes and engineering solutions to prevent recurrence.\nDesign and implement improvements to electrical control systems to optimize production efficiency and reduce downtime.\nDevelop and oversee preventive programs based on engineering analysis to enhance overall equipment performance.\nEnsure all electrical systems and components comply with relevant safety regulations and electrical codes.\nRead and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation to guide system diagnostics and upgrades.\nProgram and configure Allen Bradley hardware, software, and drives for production automation and process control.\nLead technical projects, including the installation and commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and quality assurance, to maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and product standards.\nProvide technical training and guidance to maintenance staff and production operators on electrical systems and best practices.\nMaintain up-to-date documentation on electrical systems, modifications, and activities for compliance and continuous improvement efforts.\n\n

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

\n\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or closely related field.\nUnderstand and troubleshoot control voltage and line voltage.\nUnderstanding and utilizing industry electrical prints.\nEffective PLC maintenance and troubleshooting.\nUnderstands Vacuum theory.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.\nFollow diagrams, operation manuals and manufacturing instructions.\nMust be able to troubleshoot malfunctions in timely manner and find resolution.\nMust pass a background check, drug screen.\nMust be able to read and write.\nNeed to be familiar in SPC, HACCP, GMP’S SSOP’S and USDA.\nComputer skills with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.\nAbility to read technical documents and communicate in English.\n\n

         Physical Demands: 

\n\nConstant standing and walking (8 hours or more per day)\nLifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling (up to and including 50lbs or more).\nReaching overhead.\nWorking from a ladder of raised platform.\nReaching below knees.\nAbility to reasonably multitask.\nWorking with electricity, tools, and wiring.\nCompleting required paperwork in timely manner.\nUsing material handling equipment as needed.\n\n

      Working Conditions:

\n\nWork in damp and cold environment as needed.\nWork with loud and noisy machinery as needed.\nWork in dusty environment when using spice as needed.\nWork with raw meat as needed.\nWork in congested areas as needed.\nWork in tight spaces to complete work.\n\n
