Electrical Engineer $110-130K+/YR
**Job Title: Electrical Engineer** **Pay: $85-130K/YR** **Responsibilities** + Deliver electrical engineering support for systems and equipment within the designated area. + Design, propose, and execute upgrade strategies for outdated controls and components. + Oversee compliance and guide scheduled maintenance for plant power distribution systems. + Organize and manage the planning, scheduling, and coordination of equipment installations. + Provide engineering expertise and consultative support to diagnose and resolve complex operational and maintenance issues, including conducting root cause analyses to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). + Mentor junior engineers, electrical technicians, maintenance supervisors, and skilled trades personnel. + Offer specialized technical knowledge in the adoption and integration of emerging technologies for plant operations and infrastructure. + Contribute to long-term planning for processes and facilities, including capital investment and cost reduction initiatives. + Lead continuous improvement efforts aimed at eliminating waste, particularly in areas such as equipment downtime, safety, work practices, and employee engagement. + Manage or support the design, development, installation, budgeting, and evaluation of complex engineering projects. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. + Minimum five (5) years of experience as an electrical engineer in a manufacturing environment. + Minimum five (5) years of experience working with PLCs and HMI packages. **Preferred Qualifications** For this position to be successful, preference is given to candidates with: + Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs. + Experience managing and executing capital projects. + Previous experience with combustion systems or furnace operation. + Previous experience with power distribution systems (up to 15kV) + A high degree of interpersonal skills to motivate and influence others, including those not under their direct supervision. + 15 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in a heavy manufacturing environment **Why Work Here?** Our inclusive culture offers room for advancement and the opportunity to grow your career. Work is spread across seven buildings on a 120+ acre site, requiring flexibility in building assignments. The team consists of 55 employees across all shifts, with openings in both the Wheels and Structures Divisions. Enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule. Uniforms are provided, and you will receive 1 week of PTO after 6 months of employment. Compensation includes a base pay with cost of living adjustments and shift premiums. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Cleveland, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $96324.80 - $96324.80/yr. - They do get daily overtime (anything worked over 8hrs is time and a half), time and a half on Saturdays, double time on Sundays) - $800 off insurance if you live tobacco free - Culture is very inclusive - Room for advancement - offer Tuition Reimbursement after a year of employment. - Company offers COL (cost of living) pay - Medical facility/ doctor on site that employees have access to - Cafe on site with hot meals (cooked on site), snacks and vending machines - Unlimited overtime per week / double time on Sunday's (no required overtime) - Can choose to work overtime before or after their shift - Managers are tenured and love to train / teach.
