We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering Department, supporting industrial manufacturing and water/wastewater treatment projects. You will work on electrical engineering designs throughout the entire project lifecycle, collaborating with teams across multiple U.S. offices. This role offers opportunities to lead projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to high‑impact engineering solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesReview and interpret project requirements, codes, and standards to ensure compliance with regulations and client expectationsPerform electrical design calculations and develop technical reports, specifications, and engineering documentationProduce detailed engineering drawings using Autodesk Revit and AutoCADDesign power distribution systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and client standardsEngineer facility lighting and grounding systemsDevelop power panel schedules and motor control system layoutsCreate wiring diagrams, instrumentation drawings, and related schedulesPrepare proposals, scope documents, and fee estimatesServe as the Electrical Lead Engineer on assigned projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and quality standardsMentor early‑career Electrical Engineers and DesignersPromote and uphold health and safety standardsApply established quality control processes and communicate project status to project managers or ownersReview shop drawings for compliance with design intent and technical requirementsConduct site visits, inspections, and field verificationsPrepare construction cost estimates and assist with project closeout, including punch listsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering TechnologyMinimum 8 years of electrical engineering experience in water/wastewater treatment, industrial, or manufacturing environmentsStrong proficiency in electrical engineering fundamentals and design practicesExperience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)Ability to perform engineering calculations using modeling softwareSolid knowledge of the NECProficiency with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD MEPExperience with lighting design tools such as AGI32 or similar softwarePreferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) license, or an interest in pursuing licensureAbility to apply advanced engineering principles and exercise independent judgmentWork EnvironmentThis position offers a hybrid work model, with two required in‑office days each week. Fully remote work may be available for highly qualified candidates. Work is shared across domestic and international project teams.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $48.00/hr.
