Job Title: Electrical Designer Job Description We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer with a strong experience in control panel design and layout, as well as schematic creation, specific to custom automated equipment. The ideal candidate will have proficiency with EPlan, although candidates with experience in AutoCAD Electrical who are eager to learn and work with EPlan are also encouraged to apply. Responsibilities + Design and layout control panels for custom automated equipment. + Create detailed electrical schematics. + Utilize EPlan for design tasks, or be willing to learn EPlan if experienced in AutoCAD Electrical. + Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet project specifications. + Maintain documentation of design processes and revisions. Essential Skills + 3+ years of experience in Electrical Design specific to custom automated equipment. + Proficiency in control panel design/layout and schematic creation. + Experience with EPlan is strongly preferred, but candidates with AutoCAD Electrical experience will be considered. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Familiarity with PLCs and controls design. + Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. + Ability to adapt to new software and technologies. Work Environment This is an onsite role in a desk or cubicle setting, providing a collaborative environment with access to necessary design technologies and tools Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
