Electrical Designer - Massachusetts

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Designer with 0–2 years of experience in an MEP environment. This role is highly focused on Revit production work to support Electrical Engineers on a variety of project tasks. You will contribute to electrical system design, load calculations, low‑voltage systems, power distribution, and alarm system integration.

Responsibilities

Support Electrical Engineers with design and drafting tasksUse Revit for modeling and documentationPerform load calculations for electrical systemsDesign low‑voltage and power distribution systemsIncorporate alarm systems into project designs

Essential Skills

Proficiency in RevitUnderstanding of electrical engineering conceptsExperience with building design or electrical building engineeringAbility to perform electrical load calculationsKnowledge of low‑voltage and power distribution systemsFamiliarity with alarm systems

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical EngineeringCo‑op or internship experience in an MEP setting is a plusFE/EIT track is a plus

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role requiring in‑office presence Tuesday through Thursday. A structured onboarding and training program is provided to ensure a successful transition into the team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medford, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $43.00/hr.
