Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering service and project management organization. The candidate will perform electrical design tasks, including arc flash analysis and the completion of as-built models, drawings, and documentation. This role involves collaboration with project leaders and other organizations to develop and maintain drawings. The position is based in OH.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with other departments, subject matter experts, technicians, and vendors to gather necessary information for design and engineering tasks.Complete engineering calculations and tasks such as arc flash analysis and equipment sizing and specifications.Work closely with project leaders, subject matter experts, contractors, and operations personnel to complete as-builts for electrical work at facilities and maintain core drawings.Develop and maintain a working knowledge of company standards, code requirements, and industry best practices.

Essential Skills

Experience with pipeline and electrical design.Proficiency in arc flash modeling and use of Autodesk products.At least 1 year of experience with modeling software.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering.Familiarity with ETAP software is preferred.Experience in electrical design within the pipeline and terminal industry is preferred.

Work Environment

The position offers a hybrid work environment with 4 days in the office and 1 day remote. More remote days could be considered for the right candidate.

This is a Contract position based out of Findlay, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $48.08/hr.
