**Electrical Assembly Technician - Walker, MI**
Job Description
This position involves working in the DC department on a 1st shift schedule. The role focuses on electrical and mechanical assembly within a large, clean, and quiet manufacturing facility. The main duties include assembling solar panel power boxes and switchboards, working as part of a team on the assembly line.
Responsibilities
+ Strip wire, add crimps, and ensure hand-eye coordination for assembly tasks.
+ Add pin connectors and torque connectors to assemblies.
+ Set up and prepare panel boxes, switchboards, and wire on a shelf for building.
+ Pull wire and spool it, reading prints to determine assembly requirements.
+ Work within a specific area all day, either wire spooling or assembly using hand tools, air power tools, and torque wrenches.
+ Screw in screws, nuts, and bolts, and strip wires into metal plates to assemble power boxes.
+ Achieve a target of assembling 64 panels per day once up to speed after training.
Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to read blueprints or schematics.
+ Proficiency in reading a tape measure.
+ Experience using basic hand tools.
+ Capability to learn crimping devices, wire machines, and strip machines.
+ Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
