Job Title: Electrical Assembly II (1st Shift)Job Description

Join our team to assist in the mechanical and electrical builds of customer products. You will be responsible for reading and understanding wiring schematics and diagrams, and executing tasks such as crimping, pulling, terminating, and installing electrical harnesses and sub-assemblies.

ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical and mechanical assembly, including panel wiring, while adhering to safety, quality, and customer specifications.Assemble finished units per customer specifications, including pulling wire, crimping, installing, and testing wiring and wiring harnesses using voltmeter and ohmmeter.Perform part replacement on tools as needed and according to schedule.Resolve routine questions and problems, referring more complex issues to higher levels.Work under direct supervision, with output monitored frequently.Follow detailed written or verbal instructions, including visual aids, diagrams, and schematics.Ensure that the assigned area is clean and organized per 5S standards.Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.Coordinate with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members in smaller group teams.Keep inventory personnel informed of spare parts inventory and locations for ease of order fulfillments.Essential Skills1+ years experience in electrical wiring and assembly.Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and diagrams.Experience with hand and power tools.Proficiency in electrical testing, including the use of a multimeter.Familiarity with control panels, soldering, and crimping.Additional Skills & QualificationsSchooling experience in lieu of hands-on experience is acceptable (TCAT, Delta Tech, Moore Tech, Southwest).Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Proficiency in using a Windows-based operating system and related software.Ability to interpret blueprints, graphs, and schematics.Experience with large, intricate units, approximately 8 feet tall by 16-20 feet in length.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a clean, temperature-controlled environment with cell stations and large working areas, consisting of 5-7 technicians per work cell. We provide all tools and materials needed for assembly, so no outside tools are required. Training will be conducted on-site in a classroom setting, covering safety, electrical wiring, and standard protocols. Shifts run from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday for the first 1-2 weeks, followed by 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. You must be available for Saturday work if scheduled. Overtime is available, and the company ensures no more than 58 hours per week are worked. Our training lab environment emphasizes hands-on learning and adherence to professional conduct.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $27.50/hr.
