Electrical Assembler (Nights)
Job Title: Electrical Assembler

Job Description

The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling electrical systems and components in accordance with engineering schematics and specifications. This role involves assembling electrical components and control devices to heavy subassembly units based on electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams. You will also be wiring circuits, outlets, and switches, and calibrating parts and mechanisms to meet product tolerances.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble electrical components and control devices using engineering schematics and specifications.Wire circuits, outlets, and switches according to diagrams and schematics.Calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet product tolerances and specifications.Operate basic tools such as drills, impacts, and grinders.Work independently or collaboratively with a team of assemblers.Operate material handling devices and lifts including pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and mobile floor cranes.Fit, test, and calibrate parts to ensure they meet tolerances and product specifications.Essential Skills3-5 years of electrical assembly experience.Ability to read and interpret blueprints or schematics.Proficiency in operating measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools.3-5 years of experience operating forklift and scissor lift.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with bending conduit and cable tray.Knowledge of blueprint and schematic interpretation.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position is located in a production environment with exposure to loud noise, moving machinery, and other hazards. Employees will frequently lift and move objects weighing between 10 to 50 pounds. Safety protocols must be adhered to at all times. The role requires availability for the night shift from 6AM-2:30 or 4:30, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
