Electrical Assembler

Job Title: Electrical Assembler $20-$26

Job Description

The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling electrical systems and components in accordance with engineering schematics and specifications. You will be required to assemble electrical components and control devices to heavy subassembly units based on electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams. This role involves wiring circuits, outlets, and switches, as well as calibrating parts and mechanisms to meet product tolerances. Operating basic tools such as drills, impacts, and grinders is essential from day one. The role may require working independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Assemble electrical systems and components per engineering schematics and specifications.Wiring of circuits, outlets, and switches.Calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.Operate material handling devices and lifts such as pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and mobile floor cranes.Fit, test, and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet product specifications.

Essential Skills

3-5 years of electrical assembly experience.Ability to read and interpret blueprints or schematics.Proficiency in operating measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools.3-5 years of experience operating forklift/scissor lift.Experience in conduit bending.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in wire termination.Proficiency in installation processes.

Work Environment

Work in a production environment with exposure to loud noise, moving machinery, and other hazards. Frequent lifting and moving of objects weighing between 10 to 50 pounds is required. Safety protocols must be adhered to at all times. The position offers a stable day shift schedule from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $28.50/hr.
