Job Title: Electrical AssemblerJob Description

Assemble Power Buggies, which are essentially mini dump trucks used to transport concrete or mulch into areas inaccessible by larger dump trucks. The role involves working at both facilities and assisting with concrete level machines as needed. You will be responsible for using lifts and small overhead cranes to lift machines, wiring harnesses and other electrical components to the control panel, and connecting tubes and hydraulic lines. Finally, you'll test the machines to ensure full functionality, including connecting a computer to the machine for diagnostic purposes.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble Power Buggies and concrete leveling machines.Utilize lifts and small overhead cranes for machine assembly.Wire harnesses and electrical components to control panels.Connect tubes and hydraulic lines.Test machines to ensure they are fully functional, including diagnostic testing with a computer.Work across different facilities and assist with varied tasks as needed.Essential Skills1 year experience as an electrical assembler.Experience in mechanics, auto mechanics, and electrical assembly.Proficiency in using tools and reading blueprints.Ability to troubleshoot, fabricate, weld, and read schematics.Additional Skills & Qualifications1 year experience as an auto mechanic.Experience in a similar role is preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work the 1st shift from Monday to Thursday (6:00 am - 3:30 pm) and Friday (6:00 am - 10:00 am), with flexible start times. Wear steel-toe boots, jeans, and a t-shirt. Work in a two-year-old, extremely clean, climate-controlled shop with huge ceiling fans, big garage doors, heated floors, and a nice break room. Be prepared to commute between facilities in Darien and Delavan, with a future move to a larger facility in Beloit.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
