Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Electrical Assemblers with experience in small part assembly, particularly in electrical and wiring tasks. The role involves assembling photonic cables in a clean manufacturing environment. Candidates must be comfortable working with small parts and wires, and willing to work on Fridays and Saturdays for 5-8 hours.
Responsibilities
Follow established assembly instructions for fiber optic cables and products.Maintain a minimum standard quota in terms of time and piece count for assignments.Comply with all safety requirements and company policies.Gain an intermediate-level understanding of tool names and their applications.Develop component identification and product knowledge.Measure using standard and metric measurements, and utilize conversion tools.Perform tasks accurately to ensure high-quality output.Report any irregularities related to daily goals, quality, or delays to the Production Supervisor.Utilize basic problem-solving skills to address issues and initiate constructive changes.Essential Skills
1+ year of experience in small part assembly, preferably in electrical/wiring.Experience with hand tools such as wire cutters, strippers, rulers, and crimpers.Ability to stand for long periods.Proficiency in English: reading, writing, and speaking.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Good manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination.High attention to detail.Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Basic measurement skills in both standard and metric.Ability to reason and analyze effectively.ITAR compliance is required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a clean room environment, manufacturing fiber optics for government and private clients. The job requires wearing a lab coat-like gown. Shifts run from 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, with frequent overtime on Fridays.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
