We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Assembler who will be responsible for assembling and verifying components, ensuring the precise mounting of control components and devices for junction boxes and control panels according to specifications or supervisor instructions. This position offers a weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, 5 AM to 5 PM, where you work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours.
ResponsibilitiesPerform control and special wiring, including functional checks, based on blueprint specifications.Use tools such as plasma cutters, drills, crimping tools, hand tools, and paint equipment to assemble necessary components.Assemble all necessary components for functional junction and control boxes.Inspect assembled products to ensure quality.Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Essential SkillsStrong mechanical skills.Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.Knowledge of inspection, testing, repair, and reporting on various types of transformers.Familiarity with brazing, crimping, TIG welding, and insulation application procedures.Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and connection drawings/diagrams and specifications.Proficiency in using measuring devices such as micrometers, rulers, and measuring tapes.
Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Willingness to work overtime, evening/off shifts, weekends, and holidays.Craftsmanship: Pride in producing high-quality products.Focus: Ability to handle repetitive tasks and work under stress.Hand-Eye Coordination: Precise movements to grasp, manipulate, or assemble small objects.Control Precision: Ability to adjust machine controls to exact positions.Manual Dexterity: Quick hand movements to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.Near Vision: Ability to read gauges and devices at close range.
