Electrical Assembler
**Job Title: Electrical Assembler** **Job Description** As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for building components and assembling them into drones and Military All Terrain Vehicles (M-ATVs) according to blueprint specifications for the armed forces. You will provide routine technical support to engineers on standard components, devices, materials, products, processes, and equipment. **Responsibilities** + Perform electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly, and rework, including testing and repairing various electronic products and mechanical assemblies. + Work from complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and sketches. + Provide routine technical support to engineers and scientists on standard components, devices, materials, products, processes, and equipment. + Responsibilities may include testing, modifying, reworking, repairing, and building electronic, optical, or mechanical assemblies. + Work from standard wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and sketches. + Design and/or test prototype assemblies and production units. + Interpret and follow documents such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety rules. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in building cables or electrical assemblies. + Strong understanding of capacitors, electrical control boxes, cables, and symbols. + Ability to differentiate and know the differences of wires, such as 16 gauge vs 20 gauge vs 12 gauge. + On-the-job experience using various wiring tools such as cutters, strippers, crimpers, and soldering irons. + High School Diploma or GED. + Ability to coordinate several activities at the same time and reprioritize in response to changing operational conditions. + Ability to read and possibly develop wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for system or equipment modifications or expansion. + Experienced in handling small delicate components using Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) practices. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Soldering and wire bonding experience is a plus. + Must be experienced in the safe handling of chemicals. + Experience with various computer applications, including Access, Excel, and Labview. + Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is a plus. **Why Work Here** Join a recognized leader in the design and integration of complex technologies into new and legacy systems and platforms for global military and commercial customers. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 7 am to 5:45 pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
