Electrical Assembler
**Job Title: Electrical Assembly (2nd Shift)** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team to assist in mechanical and electrical builds of customer products. Candidates should possess the ability to read and understand wiring schematics and diagrams, specifically point-to-point wiring, and have experience with crimping, pulling, terminating, and installing electrical harnesses and sub-assemblies. **Responsibilities** + Perform electrical and mechanical assembly, including panel wiring, while adhering to safety, quality, and customer specifications. + Assemble finished units per customer specifications, which includes pulling wire, crimping, installing, and testing wiring and wiring harnesses using voltmeter and ohmmeter. + Replace parts on tools as needed and according to schedule. + Resolve routine questions and problems, referring more complex issues to higher levels. + Follow detailed written or verbal instructions, including visual aids, diagrams, and schematics. + Ensure the assigned area is clean and organized per 5S standards. + Comply with and follow all procedures within the company security policy. + Coordinate with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members to accomplish. + Keep inventory personnel informed of spare parts inventory and locations for ease of order fulfillment. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in electrical and mechanical assembly. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, graphs, and schematics. + Experience in electrical wiring and assembly, with at least 1 year of experience or equivalent schooling. + Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. + Understanding of electrical testing and electronic assembly. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in related fields such as avionics technicians wiring aircrafts, A&P technicians, and military experience in wiring and diagnostics. + Ability to operate a personal computer, including using a Windows-based operating system and related software. + Competency in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. **Why Work Here?** We offer incredible career growth opportunities, as demonstrated by our VP of Operations and CEO, who started their careers in entry-level positions. We are known for truly taking care of our people. **Work Environment** Work in a clean, temperature-controlled environment within an electrical assembly area consisting of 25 cell stations with large working areas. Teams consist of 5-7 technicians per work cell, collaborating to assemble units per specification. Shifts are Monday to Friday, starting at 4:00 PM, and can be 8, 10, or 12 hours long, with occasional Saturday shifts required. Overtime is available, but will not exceed 58 hours per week, with double time for Sundays when permanent. All tools and materials are provided. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, Tennessee. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $29.68 - $31.80/hr.
