**Job Title: Electrical Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as Electrical Assemblers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of small part assembly experience, preferably in electrical or wiring. Experience with hand tools such as wire cutters, strippers, rulers, and crimpers is essential. The role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and flexibility to work overtime. Candidates must be open to working both day and swing shifts. **Responsibilities** + Follow established assembly instructions for fiber optic cables and products. + Maintain a minimum standard quota for a given job assignment. + Comply with all safety requirements and company policies. + Obtain an intermediate understanding of assembly tools and their uses. + Gain entry-level component identification and product knowledge. + Understand measuring with standard and metric measurements using available tools. + Perform tasks accurately to ensure quality products. + Report any irregularities in daily goals, quality, or delays to the Production Supervisor or management. + Use basic problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues. **Essential Skills** + 1+ year of small part assembly experience (electrical/wiring preferred). + Experience with hand tools such as wire cutters, strippers, rulers, and crimpers. + Ability to stand for long periods. + Flexibility to work overtime. + Comfortable working with small parts, wires, and cables. + Basic English proficiency for reading, writing, and speaking. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Good manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination. + High level of attention to detail. + Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. + Basic measurement skills using both standard and metric. + Ability to reason and analyze. + ITAR compliant. + Highly dependable with a good work ethic and positive attitude. **Why Work Here?** Join a company known for its innovative R&D projects in military applications, offering a stimulating environment for those who love to learn and explore. Employees will wear a basic gown similar to a lab coat. Day shifts run from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday, with frequent overtime on Fridays. Swing shifts operate from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am Monday to Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
