**Job Title: Electrical Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking an Electrical Assembler with over a year of experience in small part assembly, particularly in electrical or wiring. The ideal candidate should be proficient with hand tools such as wire cutters, strippers, rulers, and crimpers. The role requires standing for long periods and working overtime when necessary. Flexibility to work both day and swing shifts is essential. **Responsibilities** + Follow established assembly instructions for fiber optic cables and products. + Maintain a minimum standard quota for assigned tasks. + Comply with all safety requirements and company policies. + Develop an intermediate understanding of assembly tools and their uses. + Gain beginner-level component identification and product knowledge. + Measure accurately using standard and metric measurements with conversion tools. + Perform tasks accurately to ensure product quality. + Report any irregularities in daily goals, quality, or delays to the Production Supervisor. + Utilize basic problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues. **Essential Skills** + Experience in assembly and small part assembly. + Proficiency with measurement tools and hand tools. + Familiarity with production processes, blueprints, wiring, schematics, and panel wiring. + Experience with electrical components, wire crimpers, and wire strippers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Good manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination. + High attention to detail. + Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). + Basic measurement skills using both standard and metric systems. + Basic English communication skills, both verbal and written. + Ability to reason and analyze. + ITAR Compliant. **Why Work Here?** Our company engages in extensive research and development for military projects, offering a stimulating environment for those with a penchant for learning and curiosity. **Work Environment** The work environment is clean and involves manufacturing fiber optics for government and private clients. Employees will wear a basic gown similar to a lab coat in a clean room setting. Day shifts run from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday, with frequent overtime on Fridays. Swing shifts operate from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am Monday through Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
