**Job Title: Electrical Assembler**
**Job Description**
The Mechanical Assembler will focus on brazing copper to copper piping using an oxyacetylene torch, with each unit being custom-built to meet specific customer requirements. This involves cutting piping to the correct length and assembling it according to blueprints. The role includes assembling the housing units for the racks and requires frequent physical movement such as bending, kneeling, and twisting throughout the day. Will train! Just prefer minor electrical or wiring exposure.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform brazing of copper to copper piping using oxyacetylene torch.
+ Cut piping to specified lengths and assemble based on customer needs.
+ Read and interpret blueprints for assembly tasks.
+ Assist in the assembly of housing units for racks.
+ Engage in physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and twisting throughout the day.
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical assembly experience.
+ Brazing skills.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools.
+ Experience in general labor tasks.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 3+ months experience in mechanical assembly, complex machine operation, or construction.
+ Ability to accurately use a tape measure.
+ Experience in plumbing or welding, including MIG welding on mild steel.
+ Mechanical aptitude, possibly demonstrated through experience repairing machinery or working on vehicles.

**Work Environment**
Work in a large manufacturing building alongside teams of 3-4 people, where the pace is fast and the environment is well-lit. The nature of the work means getting dirty is expected, but the space is kept clean. Work hours are Monday to Thursday, from 5:00am to 3:30pm. The facility is equipped with fans for airflow, though it lacks air conditioning. Steel-toed shoes and long pants are required attire.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ramsey, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
