Job Description

ResponsibilitiesAssemble electrical components and wire equipment using tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, soldering irons, splicing tools, and crimping tools.Read and interpret drawings and sketches accurately.Maintain a daily time log of work completed on manufacturing and production travelers.Perform sub-assemblies for custom-built GSE units tailored for major airlines and government entities.Execute additional assigned duties as needed.Essential SkillsMinimum of 6 months of electrical experience in any capacity.Ability to take accurate measurements with a tape measure and use a meter.Proficiency in using hand and power tools with at least 6 months of experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in assembly, mechanics, automotive technician roles, and blueprint reading is advantageous.Mechanical inclination and familiarity with automotive systems and generators are beneficial.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a large manufacturing facility where jeans and shirts are acceptable attire. Uniforms will be provided within a month, and steel-toed boots are required. The production setting can be chaotic due to project deadlines, but tools will be supplied to support your work. Enjoy a structured schedule with optional overtime, especially during busy seasons.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
