Job Description

Join our team as an Electrical Assembly Technician, where you will be responsible for the electrical assembly of various drives and electric transformers. You will follow work orders and be trained on schematics for future use. Collaborate in teams of 2-4, utilizing various hand and power tools while working on the low voltage line.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical assembly of drives and electric transformers.Follow work orders and learn to read schematics.Work collaboratively in teams of 2-4.Utilize various hand and power tools.Engage in low voltage line tasks.

Essential Skills

Mechanical aptitude.Experience with hand and power tools.1+ years of assembly experience (mechanical or electrical) from the same company.1+ years of blueprint or schematic reading experience.Proficiency in soldering and electronic assembly.Experience in mechanical and electrical wiring.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Basic knowledge of electrical or wire diagrams.

Work Environment

Work on the 1st shift from 5am to 3pm, Monday to Thursday, in a clean, well-lit manufacturing environment. The brand-new facility requires steel-toed boots and safety glasses. The company plans to expand significantly, aiming to add 1,200 jobs over the next 8-10 years.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.27 - $20.07/hr.
