Join a leading electrical contractor in Iowa and Omaha, NE as an Electrical Apprentice. We are seeking motivated individuals to assist journeymen with various day-to-day duties on commercial, residential, utility, solar, audio video, service, and fire projects. You will learn and perform tasks such as running and bending conduit, pulling cable, hanging boxes and fixtures, and running romex cable on residential projects. No prior electrical experience is required, but a willingness to learn the trade and pursue schooling is essential.
ResponsibilitiesAssist journeyman electricians with daily tasks on various projects.Run and bend conduit, and pull cables efficiently.Install and hang electrical boxes and fixtures.Run romex cable on residential and multifamily projects.Use hand and power tools correctly and efficiently.Retain taught skills and demonstrate their application.Read and interpret tape measures accurately.Essential SkillsElectrical knowledge and troubleshooting.Experience with conduit bending and wiring.Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers and hammers.Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and division.Valid Driver's License.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Experience in construction labor and electrical assembly.Ability to bend, twist, kneel, and climb ladders for 8 hours/day.Prior electrical experience within commercial or residential crews is an advantage.Experience in appliance installation and electrical finishing tasks.Why Work Here?Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including clothing allowance, 401k with company match, and ESOP stock as part of being 100% employee-owned. Work EnvironmentWork hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with optional overtime available on Saturdays. We believe in work-life balance and do not pressure for excessive overtime. The dress code requires jeans without holes, a professional tee shirt, and work boots. Protective equipment such as high visibility vests, hard hats, glasses, and gloves are provided. Candidates should have basic hand tools including a hammer, tape measure, screwdrivers, and wire strippers.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
