**Job Title: Electrical Apprentice** Job Description Our Electrical Apprentice works under general supervision and direction from our Journeyman Electrician. We are looking for someone who is interested in training under a Journeyman, and is interested in getting their Journeyman Electrician license and working in Electrical Maintenance for the long term. Responsibilities + Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit. + Pull and terminate wire. + Install electrical equipment. + Assist Journeyman with installing and troubleshooting lighting, panels, disconnects, conduit, solar panels, and inverters. + Trace out short circuits in wiring using a test meter. + Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation, and tighten connections using hand tools. + Clean work area. Required Skills + Experience with conduit, wiring, and troubleshooting. + Ability to work under supervision of a licensed electrician. + Familiarity with chillers, boilers, and Building Automation Systems (BAS) is a nice to have. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Job duties may require standing, kneeling, crawling, bending, and use of hands, fingers, and arms to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment. + Ability to occasionally lift 50lbs. Schedule The work shift is Tuesday to Saturday from 2pm to 10:30pm. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
