The Applications Engineer plays a key role in connecting customer needs with our product capabilities by partnering closely with internal teams and external customers to understand application requirements, provide technical expertise, and ensure successful implementation of our products.
Responsibilities
+ Provide technical support to external customers and internal teams, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting product-related issues.
+ Collaborate with customers to understand application requirements and recommend tailored solutions.
+ Maintain strong relationships through timely, proactive communication and cross-team coordination.
+ Develop deep expertise in the product portfolio, including features, capabilities, and applications.
+ Stay informed on product updates, enhancements, and new releases.
+ Conduct real-world application testing to evaluate product performance and reliability.
+ Analyze results and provide actionable feedback to product development teams.
+ Create and maintain application notes, user guides, white papers, and troubleshooting resources.
+ Document customer insights and technical findings for internal use.
+ Work closely with sales, marketing, and product development to align customer needs with product strategy.
+ Serve as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams.
+ Deliver training sessions, webinars, and workshops for customers.
+ Provide internal training to enhance team understanding of product applications and customer challenges.
+ Gather customer feedback on product performance and usability.
+ Contribute to product improvement initiatives and development roadmaps.
+ Diagnose complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions.
+ Support timely resolution of customer challenges.
+ Ensure products meet industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
+ Support quality assurance processes and product certification efforts.
+ Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Essential Skills
+ A.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
+ 1-3 years of professional experience within a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficiency in MS Office.
+ Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with industrial automation or safety systems is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment is very clean and safe. Office hours are from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Support will be provided from New York, with Teams being the main method of internal communication. The team is growing, and this role is the first position in Indiana with plans for future expansion.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $28.85/hr.
