Electrician, Crane A (Electrical Crane Inspector) Location: Silverdale, Washington (Bangor) Type: Non-Exempt Work Schedule: Full Time Compensation: $ 47.30 /hour HMG is seeking an Electrician, Crane A with strong skills in safety, precision, and technical expertise . This role is responsible for inspecting and maintaining crane electrical systems — including wiring, motors, control panels, and safety mechanisms — to ensure compliance and operational reliability. Duties include diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and preparing accurate inspection reports to keep mission-critical equipment safe and functional. Typical duties include but are not limited to: + Conducts thorough visual and operational inspections of crane electrical systems, including wiring, motors, controls, and safety devices . + Identifies and diagnoses electrical malfunctions and defects in crane systems . + Performs necessary repairs, modifications, and maintenance on electrical components to ensure proper functionality and safety . + Prepares detailed inspection reports, repair records, and other required documentation . + Ensures all work complies with OSHA standards, local regulations, and manufacturer recommendations . + Effectively communicates findings, recommendations, and safety warnings to relevant personnel. Qualifications:  + High School Diploma / GED is required . + A minimum of 5 years in crane operating is required. + A combination of previous experience and education will be considered. + Valid crane operator certification and relevant licenses + Must be able to obtain and maintain all applicable security clearances. Physical Requirements: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance . Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required . + Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
