Job Responsibilities
During the program GE will provide assignments, projects & tasks that is related to his/her major where the intern can develop leadership capabilities, communication skills and introduce him/her to the work environment
Work with industry leading experts to design, select, and implement fuel system components (pumps, valves, heat exchangers, actuators, etc.) for a components lab that is being developed as part of the GE strategy for the future of Aviation.
Collaborate with Engineers from across GE Aerospace to solve design challenges, field support investigations, product improvements, etc.
Required Qualifications:
Must be actively enrolled in a university within a minimum period of 1 year of remaining classes before graduating. Engineering degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Aeronautical Engineering or related discipline in an accredited university
Active listener with good communication skills in English, capable of holding a conversation and communicating technical proposals in front of expert forums
Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Proactive and accountable with due-dates and commitments, with high level of integrity
