This role will be supporting Health & Safety of construction projects onsite in Cambridge, MA. **What you’ll do** + Assist in managing EHS programs and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and client needs. + Ensure construction projects stay in sync with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and audits. + Deliver health and safety training programs, including new hire safety orientation + Maintain comprehensive documentation, including reports, permits, and compliance records + Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, and other customers to address potential risk management and safety issues. + Monitor adherence to OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, and other relevant safety regulations and standards. + Perform site risk assessments, safety audits, and safety meetings to identify and mitigate potential hazards. + Evaluate new and existing programs to assess suitability and the need for changes. + Support the process for monitoring injury, illness, and incident-related performance. + Act as a resource to staff and internal customers as the subject matter expert. + Lead all aspects of plans, playbooks, and procedures making sure playbooks are current, complete, and effectively implemented. + Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to staff members. + Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives. + May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives. + Has a direct impact on the team objectives as well as the objectives of related teams. + Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus. **What you’ll need** + High School Diploma or equivalent experience or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience. + Must hold some EHS experience related to construction projects. + Certifications nice to have but not required: Hot works permit, 4-hour competent fall protection, confined space, NFP70E. + In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required. + Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information. + Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. The compensation range is about $120,000 annual base salary based on experience.
