Job Description
This position will provide specialized support to the Environmental, Health and Safety DepartmentWorking closely with the EHS team and site operations, the position will primarily be responsible for maintaining waste management programs including hazardous, regulated medical, pharmaceutical, and other specialized wastesEHS Inspections and PMs – Plan and execute Safety Preventative Maintenance and InspectionsWaste Program Management – Manage the regulated and specialized waste program at the siteWork with warehouse personnel on the tracking and removal of specialized rejected products and materialsRegulatory Compliance/Reporting. Will oversee and maintain the Regulatory compliance matrixCoordinate sampling of the wastewaterPPE Program– Will perform safety inspections of PPEEmergency Response Team Coordinator – Assemble, Training and Maintain the site emergency response teamMetric Tracking – Will be responsible for various EHS metric tracking Vendor Management – Coordinate and monitor external contractors involved with the removal of regulated and specialized waste streamsMust Have
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental, Health, Safety)2+ years experience working in an Environmental, Health & Safety roleExperience in Hazardous / Regulated Waste ManagementNice to Have
Previous pharmaceutical industry experienceExperience working in a GMP environmentEHS management systems (Enablon, Intelex, VelocityEHS, etc.)Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bedford, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.
