Our client, a leading organization in the industrial sector, is seeking a EHS Specialist to join their team. As a EHS Specialist, you will be part of the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) department supporting compliance, data management, and safety initiatives.
**Job Title:** EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) Specialist
**Location:** Austin, TX
**Pay Range:** $25
**What's the Job?**
+ Support day-to-day compliance activities related to environmental, health, and safety regulations
+ Assist with hazardous waste tracking, manifests, and documentation in accordance with regulatory and company standards
+ Manage chemical inventory, including SDS collection, organization, and updates
+ Contribute to environmental and sustainability data collection and entry into corporate systems
+ Support EHS training, awareness programs, and communication campaigns to promote safety culture
**What's Needed?**
+ Strong organizational and documentation skills with high attention to detail
+ Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with EHS or data management systems is a plus
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and support team initiatives
+ Willingness to learn about EHS regulatory frameworks such as OSHA and EPA/RCRA hazardous waste requirements
