Job Summary:
The EHS Senior Supervisor (Environmental Focus) provides strategic leadership and mentorship to hourly and salaried personnel engaged in environmental functions within a three-facility manufacturing campus. This role will also act as the region’s subject matter expert in environmental compliance. This role is tasked with directing and supporting EHS initiatives to uphold compliance and promote environmental stewardship.
Responsibilities:
Hazard Identification and Mitigation:
This position identifies prevalent safety, health, and environmental hazards intrinsic to the organization's operations. They establish comprehensive guidelines to safeguard personnel and assets, ensuring robust protection against identified risks.
Training and Regulatory Compliance:
This position ensures that all EHS training is completed in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and in alignment with facility, division, or enterprise objectives. The Manager audits EHS programs for compliance with company standards and government regulations and evaluates their adequacy relative to local operational conditions.
Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:
Monitors periodic performance reports, analyzes trends and conditions, and promptly notifies line management of emerging issues. They provide actionable recommendations to drive improvements and ensure ongoing advancement in EHS performance.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in environmental science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or related field English Advanced.Strong technical skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.Skills:

Master of science in environmental fieldsExpert in environmental at industrial sites.Expert as internal or cross functional compliance auditor for environmental matters.Proven track record with SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, CONAGUA and state environmental permits / processes, including COA, MIA, air emissions, RETC, RENE and waste.Additional Information:
